For India Film Project's 50 hour challenge last year on the theme 'top of the world' in the 'experimental' genre, Vibhav Nigam probed the street art of Delhi, extending the gamut, conversing with its characters, juxtaposing an impersonal drone-ish representation of Delhi with what lies in its underbelly.
Her-Story
Her-Story is a short documentary film made using medium of live action film making and animation to paint the lives of two Trans-women of the Indian LGBT community, Atri and Pinot. Atri is a pragmatic trans-woman and the first to appear for Civil service examination under the category of Transgender in India. Pinot on the other hand is coming out colourfully before the world as a proud Trans-woman full of optimistic dreams.
Liquid Memory
Sabita Karar (featuring herself) is an elderly lady suffering from Schizophrenia. She believes she is still living at her birthplace, Giridi. She thinks of herself to be a teenager and her daughters are her sisters. In reality, she is living at Howrah with in-laws, at her late 70’s. The absence of any real way through to her utopia has made her longing more for it. It’s her memory that is ever morphing and defusing like a liquid.

Ijjat-Ghar
'इज़्जत घर (The House of Dignity)’ speaks about the recent breakthrough wherein the entire village of “Shahed Ghadi” in Uttar Pradesh with their joint initiative with Government owing to healthy sanitary conditions adopted to the toilet based defecation which serves to be a huge inspiration for various villages across India. They refer their toilets as “the house of dignity” owing to the importance of safe sanitary conditions. A proper sanitary facility is a symbol for positive growth of a nation
